U.S. marked 1917 trench knife made by Landers, Frary & Clark (L.F.&C.) This is the 'type 2' triangular blade with 7 pyramid knobs around the hand guard. Walnut grips and the 9" blade are in great shape.
Scabbard made by Jewell Belt Co. ("JEWELL-1918") is green leather with some damage and one missing pin on the end cap. Overall good condition.
An excellent example of a rare trench knife.
